Our
School Day Program is part of the Indian Festival and is open to
all students Pre-K thru 8th grade in Public, Private, Home Schools
and Day Care Centers.
This festival will be an interesting and educational field trip for
students and teachers alike. If your school curriculum includes
American Indian study this program is ideally suited for inclusion.

Native American singers & dancers provide
exciting American Indian Entertainment.
Representing many Indian nations,
performances will include traditional dances
as well as some specialty dances such
as the athletic Hoop dance. The program will include performances by Bullet
Standingdeer, Keith Red Elk, Jim & Cody Sawgrass, and more.
The gate opens at 9:00 AM.
The
program begins at 9:30 AM.
The program
will include: Primitive Skills experts,
flute music, drum music, storytelling, hoop dancing and traditional
Native American dancing with audience participation.

Pack
a picnic or purchase your lunch!
You might want to bring blankets or
towels to sit on while you watch
the program or eat lunch.
A limited number of bleachers and
picnic tables will be available.
Bullet Standingdeer,
champion dancer from
Cherokee, NC,
will be available to local elementary schools
to teach about the myths, legends, history,
spirituality,
environment & nature, as related to
Native Americans
during the
week preceding the festival.
